The Batch of 1998, the Slonians, gathered at Montfort School on the 6th of October, to celebrate their silver Jubilee. They came back to their Alma Mater after 25 long years to recall their memories and reline the moments they have had with their friends in the campus. There was a Special Assembly conducted by the students of our school to welcome the chief guests of the day, who were none other than our very own old boys of our school.
They start off by unfurling the flags. Our Director and Principal, Rev. Bro. Domnic Savio will Unfurl the National flag, the School Captain of the year 1998, Mr. Robert Devsia, unfurled our school flag, the House captains, Mr. Ajay Ponmany, Mr. Darmendra, and Mr. Inderjit, unfurled the House flags.
The Old Boys had come with their spouse and their children wearing their own custom T- shirts. They took time to call their teachers on to the stage to show their gratitude. This was followed by the school song all the students sang the decades old school song with pride. Once the program came to an end, they left for their lunch.
After the lunch the students of Grade 12 got the opportunity to interact with the old boys, before it was time for them to leave their Alma Mater once again.
