The Blessing Day celebration was held with devotion and grace on Sunday, 8 February 2026, at Eugene Hall. The program was organised to seek God’s blessings for the students, especially those of Classes X and XII, as they prepare for their Board Examinations and future journeys.
The ceremony began with a solemn Candle Procession led by the students of Classes X and XII. The gentle glow of the candles created a peaceful and prayerful atmosphere, symbolising hope, faith, and divine guidance.
This was followed by the Bible Reading by Mrs. Sivasakthi, who proclaimed the Word of God, inspiring everyone to place their trust in Him. The Opening Prayer was led by Mr. Joseph, invoking blessings upon the gathering. A melodious Prayer Song was then presented by Mr. Noel and his team, lifting the spirits of all present.
The Welcome Address was delivered by Mrs. Vijayalakshmi, who warmly greeted the dignitaries, staff members, parents, and students. A Brief Note on Blessing Day was shared by Bro. Binu, explaining the importance of the occasion and the value of seeking blessings before important milestones.
The program continued with the Offertory, followed by the Prayer of the Faithful, where special intentions were offered for the students, their families, and the institution.
A heartfelt Students’ Prayer was led by Bro. Arokiasamy, expressing gratitude and seeking strength, wisdom, and success in the upcoming examinations. This was followed by the Parents’ Blessing Prayer, led by Mr. Irdhaya Raj, asking for God’s protection and guidance for the children.
The gathering was then addressed by the Principal, Rev. Bro. Arockia Sahaya Raj, who encouraged the students to face their examinations with confidence, discipline, and faith in God.
The most touching moment of the day was the Blessing Ceremony, conducted by the priests along with the teachers handling Classes X and XII. Each student received a special blessing, making the occasion deeply meaningful.
Before the Vote of Thanks, two parents came forward to bless the children and share their heartfelt good wishes for success in the Board Examinations. Their words of encouragement added warmth and emotional depth to the celebration.
The program concluded with the Vote of Thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event.
