The Pongal Festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Montfort School on 10th January. The event witnessed the active participation of parents, teachers, and students, making the celebration lively and memorable.
The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Rev. Brother Arokia Sagayaraj, the Principal of the school. He delivered an inspiring and meaningful address, appreciating the efforts of the school in nurturing cultural values among students.
The celebration was enriched with vibrant dance performances presented by the students, which added colour and joy to the occasion. Their performances were well appreciated by the audience.
As a part of the concluding events, a tug-of-war competition was conducted involving students, teachers, and parents. The competition created a spirit of unity, sportsmanship, and enjoyment among all participants.
