In the year 2008-2009 the Government of Tamil Nadu decided to introduce uniform syllabus in all the schools recognized by the State Government. Realizing the serious problem that would be faced by Montfort A.I. H.S.S and the foreign students over there, the Brothers of St. Gabriel, Yercaud Province decided to start a new ICSE school in the May field compound which has hitherto housed the junior section of Montfort A.I School.
Thus this pioneering project was initiated by Rev. Bro. George Kalangod, in the year 2008-2009 and finally took shape in April 2010. In June 2010 Montfort School ICSE, school of Excellence was born. The team of dedicated brothers and teachers tendered it to its growth. As in Montfort A. I School, the Montfort school ICSE has all the modern infrastructural facilities. This school follows the ICSE and ISC syllabus. We have students from all over the country and foreign nationals too.
