DIAMOND AND SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS

“A life devoted to God is a life well lived; your Jubilee is a testament to faith, service, and love.”
On 2nd October 2024 Montfort School, Yercaud, witnessed a joyous and solemn celebration as it marked the Diamond Jubilee of Rev. Bro. Selvanathan and the Silver Jubilee of Rev. Bros. Arockiyasami, Amalraj, and David Selvaraj. The mega event was organized with great reverence and enthusiasm, bringing together the Montfort family and well-wishers to honour the dedicated service of these jubilarians.
The day began with a solemn Thanksgiving Mass, which set the tone for the celebrations. The Mass was presided over by Most Rev. Dr. Arulselvam Rayappan. He was joined by Most Rev. Justin Bernard Gnanapragasm, Bishop of Jaffna, and Most Rev. Peter Remigius, Bishop Emeritus of Kottar Diocese. Several priests,
Montfort Brothers, Sisters and Staff members of the Montfort family also participated, making it a spiritually enriching experience. After the Mass, a vibrant honouring ceremony took place to acknowledge the remarkable journey and dedicated services of the jubilarians. The programme was made more special with a beautiful choir performance by the talented
teachers of Montfort School. Their melodious songs added grace and warmth to the occasion. The jubilarians themselves delivered heartfelt thanksgiving speeches, wherein they shared their experiences, expressed gratitude to God, and conveyed their appreciation to everyone who had supported them throughout their journey. Their words of wisdom and reflection were both inspiring and moving.
