Christmas brings joy, hope, love and peace within us. To celebrate the birth of our new born king Jesus Christmas is celebrated every year all over the world on 25th of December. Our school has its own tradition to celebrate Christmas every year but before 25th and thus it’s called as Christmas prelude. For this celebration both the schools of Montfort joint together as one big family to celebrate the season of love. As always, our program started with God’s blessing with little essence of Christmas. Rev. Fr. Louis Arockiaraj was there with us as the chief guest and blessed us all with his mighty words. Students performed a contemporary slow dance and welcomed us all with a Christmas song.
To fulfil the day carol team from both the schools performed with enthusiasm. Montfortians of Grade XI stole many hearts with their innovative handmade puppet show; of the story “The Little Match Girl”. Though by nature the story had a sad ending, our students twisted it according to Christmas’s spirit and won people’s hearts. Following that was the nativity skit, sharing the reality of Christmas. The Montfort choir accompanied the skit with their angelic voices. Our junior boys performed a creative hip hop dance and made us all tap our feet along the beat. Students came up on stage to share the hidden knowledge of Christmas celebration and the meaning behind the things used during the season of Christmas. After that our Rev. Bro. Domnic Savio enlightened us with his wisdom of thoughts and Christmas message. Thinking it to be the end of the program, just when the students got up, there came the boys with their energetic rocking performance in Santa costumes. Joy love and happiness were shared and cherished on that day.
