On 5th of September, we celebrated the Teachers’ Day. It was organized by the students of Grade 12. The ceremony staged various programs performed by students from different classes to show their love and respect for the Teachers. The programs started with prayer, Bible reading and prayer song and continued with dance performance, mime and songs sung by the students of various classes.
After the program the boys had a volleyball match against the teachers and the girls had a throw ball match against the teachers. The students felt quite proud winning the match against the teachers.
The school served delicious food at the lunch. Everyone enjoyed the feast that was served on the occasion. After lunch the students watched the Bollywood movie name “Super 30”, where the protagonist is a teacher who helped his students to clear the entrance examination held for joining the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Through this movie our students understood how the teachers work hard, so that we can face the obstacles that would come on our way in the future.
Later at night, the students had dinner and went to bed happily as the night study was cancelled due to the occasion.
