On the much awaited day of 14th June the inauguration of the renovated swimming pool was held. Rev.Bro.Johnson the Provincial Superior inaugurated it and Rev.Fr.Arul bless the swimming pool and its adjacent newly constructed facilities which was planned meticulously under the leadership of Rev.Bro.Domnic Savio the backbone of this mega project. As the first event to kick start in the new pool was a 50 meters swimming competition among 8 young swimmers who took part enthusiastically witnessed by the staff and students. After this all moved to the Convention Hall for the celebration of the Holy Mass to invoke the blessings and graces of the Holy Spirit at the commencement of the new academic year. Rev. Fr. Arul Maran celebrated the Holy Mass and shared the Word of God through a wonderful homily and blessed the entire school community. At the end of the Eucharist Rev.Fr.Maran SDB and Rev.Bro.Johnson were felicitated by Bro.Principal with shawls and bouquets. Rev.Bro.Domnic was in turn was felicitated by the Provincial for his able administration in his absence and for the marvelous planning and executing the renovation of the swimming pool.
