The birthday celebration of our beloved School Principal Bro. Arokia Sahaya Raj was conducted with great joy, reverence, and enthusiasm on the school campus.
The day commenced with the Holy Eucharistic which was solemnly celebrated by Rev. Fr. James Sundar, Principal of The Retreat, Yercaud. The Holy Mass was attended by the Brother Princ ipal, staff members, students, and well-wishers. Fr. James Sundar highlighted the values of faith, service, leadership, and dedication, and offered special prayers seeking God’s abundant blessings, good health, and happiness for our Brother Principal.
After the Holy Mass, the birthday celebration program commenced with a grand welcome for the celebrant. The School Girls’ Band led the celebrant in a ceremonial procession and presented a splendid musical welcome. Their disciplined performance and vibrant music created a festive atmosphere and set the tone for the day’s celebrations. The gathering warmly received the celebrant with applause and joyful greetings, marking the official beginning of the program.
The program opened with the introduction and warm welcome of the birthday celebrant. A passage from the Holy Bible was read, followed by prayer and a prayer song, creating a spiritual atmosphere for the celebration.
The gathering was formally welcomed by welcome address. Students from Grades 3 to 7 presented a vibrant dance performance, showcasing their talents and expressing their love and respect for the celebrant. This was followed by a heartfelt felicitation speech delivered by the students.
Students from Grades 3 to 12 then offered their felicitations and birthday wishes to the Brother Principal. The program continued with an elegant dance performance by the girl students, followed by a special segment titled “Know More About the Celebrant,” which highlighted the life journey, achievements, and contributions of the Brother Principal.
A multilingual poem presentation added color and diversity to the celebration as teachers expressed their greetings in different languages. Senior boys and super senior boys entertained the audience with energetic dance performances.
Staff members offered their felicitations, appreciating the Brother Principal’s leadership, commitment, and care for the school community. A video presentation showcasing memorable moments, achievements, and heartfelt wishes from students and staff was also screened.
The Brothers of the congregation extended their greetings and felicitations, expressing their gratitude and best wishes. The celebration reached its most joyful moment with the cake-cutting ceremony, during which everyone joined together in singing birthday wishes.
The Principal’s Address inspired the gathering with words of gratitude, encouragement, and commitment to the growth of the institution. The program concluded with the Vote of Thanks, acknowledging everyone who contributed to the success of the celebration. The event ended on a patriotic and harmonious note with the School Song.
In the afternoon, the students were treated to a movie screening, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The film provided entertainment and relaxation, adding further joy to the special day.
The entire celebration was a memorable occasion filled with prayer, gratitude, cultural performances, and fellowship. It reflected the love, respect, and admiration that the school community holds for our beloved Brother Principal. We pray that God continues to bless him with good health, wisdom, happiness, and many more years of dedicated service.
