To mark the beginning of the new academic year with divine blessings and spiritual guidance, Montfort school with over 100 years of rich tradition and excellence conducted the mass of the holy spirit on 6th june. The holy mass was celebrated by Fr. James Sundaraj and was attended by the entire school community, including students, faculty, administrative staff and the management. The celebration commenced with a solemn procession and an introduction, followed by the liturgy of the word. The celebrant in his meaningful homily, emphasized the role of the holy spirit in inspiring wisdom, understanding, role of kindness and strength to overcome the challenges of the new academic year.
Students actively participated in the various parts of the mass, including the readings, intercessory prayers, offertory and choir. The melodious hymns sung by the school choir added a spiritual depth to the event and uplifted the hearts of all present. The mass concluded with a final blessing and the sprinkling of holy water, symbolizing spiritual renewal and protection. The event was a serene and inspiring start to the school year. At the end of the Eucharistic celebration Rev. Fr. James Sundaraj was welcomed and felicitated by Rev. Bro. Arockia Sahayaraj, the Principal.
