Prior to the celebration of Children’s Day, various competitions were conducted over several days by different departments. The children enthusiastically participated in these competitions. To honor the enterprising winners of these competitions and commemorate the occasion, the Children’s Day was celebrated on November 14th. The institution was filled with excitement and joy. The day was dedicated to honoring the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, affectionately known as “Chacha Nehru” for his profound love and affection towards children. The Chief Guest of the day was Mast.Naksha, a student of Standard 4, who dressed up as Jawaharlal Nehru. He was accompanied by the Principal and members of the community, with the school band in attendance.
The teachers organized various cultural programs that showcased the students’ talent, creativity, and dedication. The program commenced with a prayer session, followed by a diverse array of songs, dances, an ethnic walk, a video presentation, and poetry recitals. During the prize distribution, the students were recognized for their outstanding achievements in extracurricular activities organized as part of the Children’s Day celebrations.
Rev.Bro.Principal presented gift hampers to all the children, fostering a sense of joy and happiness on their special day. The gifts were meticulously selected to make each student feel cherished.
The children’s reactions to receiving their gifts were truly priceless.
Following the delectable lunch, the students spent their afternoon enjoying a movie in the Eugene Hall. In the evening, exhilarating matches were played between the staff members and students, strengthening the bonds of love and camaraderie within the community.
Overall, the Children’s Day celebration was a resounding success, with students, teachers, and members of the Brothers community collaborating to make the day truly memorable. The day served as a reminder to the teachers of their responsibility to empower and nurture the young minds of their students, fostering their growth into confident, compassionate, and responsible citizens of tomorrow.
